was born in Zacatecas, Mexico and emigrated to the United
States at the age of eight with his entire family. From
early childhood until the age of 17, he worked along with
his family as seasonal farm workers and migrated throughout
California and neighboring states following seasonal crops.
He attended over 13 elementary schools, 5 middle schools
and 2 high schools prior to settling in Oxnard, California.
He has earned a B.A. in Political Science, a Masters Degree
in Latin American Studies and a Juris Doctorate. He has
resided in Whittier, California for the past twenty-one
years.
Rudy’s interest in photography began as a student at Ventura
College over 34 years ago. His work has appeared in the
Directors Guild of America, Estylo, Latin Style, La
Opinion, Latin Heat Entertainment and many more. His
work includes the First Latin Grammy Awards, the Alma Awards,
Chicano Music Awards, Image Awards, Angel Awards and various
Latino Film Festivals from San Diego, California to Chicago
Illinois for various publications.

Statement:
My photography
reflects my passion, I have traveled to many countries in
Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean to capture the
rich culture and beauty of our people and share them with
the public. My greatest satisfaction is capturing images that
appeal to my educational and cultural background and sharing
those images with the public.
